The project has Research and Development costs of about 8 million US Dollars. It is a citizen's portal for citizens of Norway, including everyone above the age of 13. Having a common portal for, in time, all the services provides great synergistic effects.

The services includes, but are not limited to; Department of Motorized Vehicle services, Health services, Education, Taxes, Address information and Welfare related services.

It was originally supposed to use the BankID system based on Public Key Infrastructure ( www.secure-my-email.com ) for authentification, the far better solution in the pool of available services. The government, however, opted against it due to not wanting to depend on the banks.

Other services are about to be added, including reservation against telephone sales, services related to the military service and the delivery of assessment papers are to be merged from the AllIn site.

The goal is that all relevant services are connected to My Page by 2009.
