Numbers from the Norwegian Petroleum Institute show that the taxes is about 62 percent of the total gasoline price.

Pr the 18th of November, one USD is 6.7489 NOK. If we say the gasoline price is 12.62 NOK per liter of high-octane 95 and use that as our basis. We remove the carbon-dioxide-tax, and the gasoline tax of 4.81 NOK, and the 25 percent value added tax, and we have a price that is 5.98 NOK / liter.

The VAT is added on top of the total price. If the crude oil price increase a dollar, the price per liter gasoline increase with 0.05 NOK. The higher the crude price, the more the government get in taxes.
