There have been signs up for two days now noticing that there is no parking between 1800 and 0700 due to construction work. That is, removing the snow in the street so that it is actually possible to drive on it for service trucks.

At 1700 the situation is like this:
The cars that are not away at the time of the service will be towed and it will be approximately USD 500 to pay to collect the car. Now, this is just outside your's truly's apartment so we'll follow the development while configuring a friend's mini mac and iPod Nano.
The first tow truck arrived at 1730 but later disappear further up the street, so the the workers apparently got delayed.
One of the more stupid things is that a car parked after 1800, despise all the posters and the fact that although there has been a complete lack of parking spaces for some time, suddenly there were all the places in the world. Hopefully that is the first car to be towed as well.
I woke up to ambivalent feelings this morning, as although greatful for the workers cleaning my street, the car that has annoyed me for some time were still there, and didn't even get a ticket. Reading the newspaper this morning the reason is simply that it was possible to clean anythign here, and they therefore required the tow-truck's precense at other locations just to get forward.
Still, that mean that what could be completely free of snow still has it due to some cars that were extremely lucky for the lack of capacity. In total approximately 50 cars was towed during the night.
